I was in Duluth yesterday for my monthly visit and had the pleasure of helping kick off the campus' 50th Anniversary Celebration. As events are planned and announced, we'll keep you posted here. I’m mentioning this because one of the goals of the Scope is to make all of us more aware of what the people around us are doing and opportunities for us to participate in the life of the Medical School.
Another goal is to reduce the number of communications we send/you receive. We did an informal poll of how many “institutional” emails (MS, MHFV, M Physicians, department, division, etc.) faculty receive on average in a week. Let me know your guess of how many via the feedback form. We’ll publish the answer and some of the solutions we’re working on next month. Also, I'm excited to share that this newsletter is now digital- you can access this content anytime without having to dig through your inbox (bookmark it!).
