Dr. Alexandra Zachwieja (Biomedical Sciences) was recently awarded a $4.01M grant from the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center Broad Agency for a project titled "Defense Resiliency Platform Against Extreme Cold Weather (DRP)". The project will model future climate change scenarios for at-risk Alaskan coastal communities.
