Recently published research from U of M Medical School researchers suggests that individuals with hepatitis C should consider revaccination for hepatitis B. In the study, patients who previously did not respond to the HBV vaccine were tested for hepatitis B surface antibodies and found that after treatment for hepatitis C, revaccination for hepatitis B improved response.
