The Rural Health Interest Group (RHIG) is affiliated with University of Minnesota Rural Health Research Center, and any student, professor, alumnus, or community member interested in rural health can be a member. The group's three primary goals are to host meetings with diverse speakers, panelists, and topics focused on rural health; to provide opportunities for collaboration with students, professors, and community members; and to discuss emerging trends in rural health research and practice.

RHIG is accepting applications for current (Spring 2023) support chairs and multiple positions for the upcoming term (Fall 2023). This is a great opportunity for students looking for resume-building opportunities, leadership experience, and flexibility for busy people who still want to be involved. Those applying for positions will be trained so you feel prepared to take on exciting RHIG tasks! LEARN MORE>>
