Toddler with hepatitis receives liver transplant

When two-year-old Baelyn arrived at M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital with acute hepatitis, it quickly became clear that she needed a transplant to survive. Her care team, including Drs. Srinath Chinnakotla and Heli Bhatt, say that she is one of an unusually high number of pediatric liver transplants resulting from hepatitis of unknown cause.
