A delegation of officials from Taiwan visited Minnesota on June 20 to learn about Minnesota's world-leading diabetes care. The impetus for the visit was Dr. Kevin Peterson's recent presentation in Taiwan on Minnesota’s efforts to improve diabetes care during the last 20 years with health reforms and care approaches, such as focusing on helping primary care providers successfully prevent and manage diabetes at the clinic level.
