Now semi-retired, Melissa Stevens led education efforts for the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health for nearly 20 years. The enormous impact she has had on this department and its programs were recognized with the Graduate Medical Education Lifetime Achievement Award, the highest honor that can be bestowed on a member of the GME community at the University of Minnesota.
