Faculty and students from the Duluth Campus were featured in an article in Blue Toad focused on a unique and innovative assignment given to first-year medical students: use art to create an expression of their understanding of bias and racism in dermatology. Medical student Clayton Metcalf's oil painting was featured on the cover of the magazine. Metcalf says, "This painting was created to express the lack of diversity in medical dermatology resources and the negative effects it can have on patient outcomes." LEARN MORE>>
